Opening Icebreaker Tournament

Format: Eighteen- hole four-person scramble. The golf staff will pair teams based on A, B, C, and D skill levels.

Saturday Morning Men’s Group
The men’s Saturday morning golf group will start on March 20th (first day of spring). All Keswick Club male golfers are invited. The golf staff will pair golfers together. Bring $10 with you for a small bragging rights wager. Call the Golf Shop to sign up. Tee times begin at 9:00am.
Women’s 9-Hole Group Opening Scramble/Bring a Friend

Match Play Team Championship
Date: Saturday & Sunday, April 17th & 18th, 2010
Time: Tee times beginning at 8:00 AM
Entry: $60 Per Player- Includes prizes, golf car fee and Sunday cookout
Format: Individuals will be paired into Two Teams by the golf staff.
Round 1- Individual Match Play Competition (handicapped):
Bag Raid- At the conclusion of each hole, the winner of the hole will select one club from his opponents’ bag to be eliminated from the bag for the remainder of the round. Every club except for the putter is fair game. If the hole is halved then no club is removed.
Round 2- Two Person Team Match Play Competition (handicapped)
6/6/6- Holes one through six…Scramble. Holes seven through twelve…Modified Alternate Shot (both players tee off; after the best tee shot has been selected the team will alternate for the remainder of the hole). Holes thirteen through eighteen…Four-Ball.

Member-Member Championship
Date: Saturday and Sunday-May 1st & 2nd, 2010
Time: Tee times beginning at 8:00 AM
Entry: $100 Per Team/$50 Per Player- Includes prizes and a cookout on Sunday afternoon (Golf car fee not included)
Round 1 - Four-Ball Stroke Play-Two players play as partners, each playing his own ball. The lower of the partners’ scores is the score for the hole. (90% of course handicap)
Round 2 - Chapman Stroke Play-Two player’s play as partners, each playing from the teeing ground and each playing his partner’s ball for the second shot. After the second shot, partners select the ball with which they wish to score, and play that ball alternately to complete the hole. (The player with the lower course handicap is allowed 60% of his course handicap. The player with the higher course handicap is allowed 40% of his course handicap. The total is rounded off with fractions of .5 or more rounded upward.) Gross and Net

Memorial Day Flag Tournament
Date: Monday, May 30th, 2010
Time: Make your own tee time
Entry: $15 Per Player- Includes prizes (Golf car fee not included)
Format: Players are given a small flag with their names attached to the flagstick. Using full handicap, play until reaching the number of strokes equaling par, plus one’s handicap. The flag is planted after using the quota of strokes, playing an extra hole or two if necessary. The winner is the player who plants the flag farthest around the course.

Format: Eighteen-hole Four Person Team Vegas Scramble- Before the round begins, each team member decides which number they will represent between 1-4. Teams will be given a six sided die. After each team member tees off, the die is rolled. The tee shot that will be used is determined by the number rolled…1-4. If the die comes up with the numbers 5 or 6 then the team can choose which tee shot to play. Regular Scramble play will follow until the ball is holed.

Format: 4-Person Captain’s Choice (modified) - All team members will play from the teeing ground. After the best tee shot has been selected all team members will play their own ball from that point onward until the ball is holed. The best two scores will be added together and recorded for the team score.

2010 Junior Golf Camps
Open to all Junior Members
The golf camps will be held during the months of July and August. The instructors will work with the children on swing mechanics, proper golf etiquette, rules of golf & history and general golf terminology. The swing mechanics sessions will focus on putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, total swing motion, and on-course instruction. There will also be fun games and contests.
The cost per child is $100 for the four-day camp or $30 per day for those juniors not able to make all four days. The camp price includes instruction, logo golf balls and prizes.
The camps will take place from 9:00 AM till 12:00 PM during the following weeks:
Ages 6-12
July 19th – 22nd, 2010
August 16th – 19th, 2010
Customized junior camps for ages 13 and above can be arranged by contacting Bubba Pulley and Kevin Huckstep in the Golf Shop.
Individual Lessons for juniors 16 years and under are also available. The cost is $25.
